研究方向主要包括碳水化合物酶工程,代谢工程,生物质精炼技术等。获国家发明专利一项,韩国,美国发明专利共3项。主持国家自然科学基金面上项目,重庆市自然科学基金面上项目,瑞典瓦伦堡木材科学中心项目等多项。担任frontiers in chemistry客座编辑,food chemistryjournal of agricultural and food chemistrycarbohydrate polymersbiotechnology for biofuels, journal of biotechnology, journal of chromatography b process biochemistryplos one bioresource technology等期刊的审稿人。
